Who never had to make a quick sketch (a Crob'Art as my favorite which recognize creative!) To explain how a user interface?
To get there, there are several solutions:

- The method "Geek", which passes directly by Laying out an IDE for HTML or swing the desired screen. The advantage is that is theoretically closer to the result, however, losing any agility in the construction of the screen. Again, the productivity is lowered ...
- The method "Corner web", where everything is simpler, since only theoretically a beast of a pencil and notepad to launch. The counterpart is that it is better to be with a good stroke of a pen so that the model can be a minimum of communicating, even presentable ... A book so the designer, left the Ecole du Louvre!
I am one of those who are content with none of the above. This is why I am interested in a utility called Balsamiq Mockups . It happens very quickly (on the order of ten minutes!) To results like this:
If the version "Desktop" is not free, it remains affordable ($ 79). Moreover, there is a version of "On-line" that allows to get their hands on the tool and to consider whether the purchase is worth it or not.
