Red Hat Launches 'Tech' Happy Hours "!

JBoss Tuesday, March 18 last was held at the Irish Pub "the Snug", the first "Tech" Happy Hours ", organized by Red Hat.
Event for architects and developers confirmed, its principle is to discover and discuss new features of the famous firm specializing in open source.
And to accompany these discussions, Red Hat offers a consumer to all participants. An idea that was unanimous.
The first was devoted to the latest version of JBoss ESB (version 4.2), which was presented to us by Noel Rocher, senior architect JBoss (for Ipponiennes Ipponiens and you will find soon the slides of the presentation in the Intranet) .
JBoss ESB offers many advantages and I think is an open source ESB to be reckoned with. It is based on tested solutions such as JBoss Rules (Drools) for routing, jBPM for orchestration, Groovy (scripting language), JBoss Messaging (JMS implementation), Smooks for Codehaus (framework data transformation in XML, CVS, POJO, ...) who must also have XFire.
It also offers clustering and of course standard connectors found on ESBs (filesystem, web services, mail, ftp, http, etc..). Not least, JBoss ESB benefits from the experience and support teams of JBoss AS (Application Server).
If you want more information, documentation on the JBoss site is not always up to date, but a recent presentation is available at http://labs.jboss.com/jbossesb/presentations.html (A technical overview presentation)
In short, a very nice concept, without moderation. Keep checking the blog for Ippon, you will be informed of upcoming events "Tech" Happy Hours "Red Hat!

Indeed, the format of this meeting is particularly friendly and efficient ... in terms of technical exchanges! I remember particularly the openness and humor of Christmas Rock in his presentation (no, she is not beautiful the administration console!) And his answers, which is not always the case in this type of event. Bravo!

For me the most interesting point in the architecture of JBoss ESB is the logic of cutting connections with the outside of BSE into two categories: the Mediation of transport on the one hand and service delivery co -localized (ESB, Spring, Rules) on the other hand with a stronger coupling. In short, digging ...
